Professional Summary

Dr. Wu joined the Department of Operations Research and Information Systems at Eastern Michigan University in 1974 in the Productions and Operations Management curriculum. She has won many awards for her outstanding teaching including the College of Business Faculty Award 3 times and the Finance and Computer Information Systems Faculty Award twice. Dr. Wu has also won the Josephine Keal Award for Professional Development and a Eastern Michigan University Presidential Faculty Research Award.

Dr. Wu started the first Eastern Michigan University Student Chapter of APICS which is a organization dedicated to operations management. They have been awarded both Gold and Platinum status and has also served on the board of the APICS Greater Detroit Chapter.

Prior to her career at Eastern Michigan University, Dr. Wu was employed at the University of Michigan. In her free time, she has donated her time to the local Habitat for Humanity chapter participating in the building of 7 homes in the Ypsilanti and Ann Arbor area.
